Tallest Horse on The Road

Yes! The Tallest Horse on Earth is now on tour. He just about fits in the car…

Silly Boys first ever home grown production, and first ever children’s puppet show.

It’s been a fantastic journey ~

From Seamas having the idea in the back of a van (somewhere on the M5 in-between Exeter and Bristol, when he saw a funny shaped tree!) to Seamas trying to convince everyone it was actually a good idea. From the first R+D sessions in Seamas’ grannies attic, to our final week at the lovely Miracle Theatre rehearsal space. From Callum Mitchell scripting everything we said on the spot, to Alice King turning up with a huge horses head…

What a laugh it’s been. Silly Boys are extremely grateful to everyone who helped in any way.

We were lucky enough to receive Feast funding towards the end of our creative process, for which we are also very grateful. It will definitely come in handy. sillyboys_poster

The show has had a great response so far, with audience members saying –

” Absolutely brilliant! So funny and lovely music”  ~

“Wonderfully simple. Perfectly pitched for young kids and adults too. Highly original!”

You can still catch it in Cornwall, Colchester and Bristol. Look here for Shows

The Silly Boys calendar is looking busy for summer – we’re off to Glastonbury with our walkabout acts, Callum Mitchell debuts his one man show and more puppets are in the pipeline. Yeehah!

The Tallest Horse on Earth will return in Autumn 2013.
